There are stone storehouses from the Meiji era; Oyaji Temple’s Buddha Magaibutsu (Buddha figures carved into the rock face) from the Nara, Heian, and Kamakura periods; the site of underground quarrying; and Kanehon, where open-pit quarrying is still practiced today. This course will allow you to fully enjoy the best that Oya has to offer.
