The name ‘Oya’ comes from ‘the valley between large rocks’. When you stand here, you understand why they called it this. Beside a large lawn, the Sugata River flows between impressive Oya stone formations known as ‘Oyakigangun-Otomeyama’. The park is located between Oya Kannon and the Oya History Museum.
